FAQ
What’s the best way to eat the cupcakes-in-a-jar?
Just like cake, with a fork or spoon! If you like a cooler, firmer icing eat directly from the fridge otherwise, simply leave on your counter until it reaches room temperature or your preferred consistency. It is a real (and rich) buttercream a.k.a made with butter so the icing will be hard if eating directly from the fridge.
Are the cupcakes-in-a-jar prepared in a peanut free facility?
No, although most flavours do not contain nuts, there are nuts in certain seasonal features.
Do you offer gluten free and vegan options?
Yes, but on a case by case basis and normally needs to be for a larger order of $80+. Please reach out to me: letashasgoodies@gmail.com if this is of interest to you.
How do you get the cupcakes in the jar?
A magician never reveals her tricks!
What is the return your jar program?
If you decide to come back for more GOODIES, bring back your jars and I will give you a “Return your jar” punch card. Each time you return a jar, your card will be punched. Once you’ve reached 7 jar returns you will get a $2 discount on any GOODIES purchase.
Do the cupcakes-in-a-jar need to be refrigerated?
Yes! The ingredients in the jar need to be refrigerated. I haven’t tested the pH levels of the jar contents to qualify it for shelf-safe conditions.
How long are cupcakes-in-a-jar good for?
The jars should be consumed within 7 days. With each passing day (especially if opened) the cupcakes can lose a bit of their “freshness”.
Can I freeze the jars?
Yes! Jars can be frozen for up to 3 months. If you intend on freezing/saving some jars for later, it’s best to freeze them as soon as you get them!
